has a NEW VENUE
Are you looking for Ryedale Folk Weekend or Kildale Folk Weekend?? Well, you're in the right place. Festival on the Moor has been organising events in and around the North York Moors since 2002. For a few years we held our big May festival in Hutton le Hole and Cropton and called it the Ryedale Folk Weekend - as it was in Ryedale! This year our May event was going to be in the village of Kildale - hence the name Kildale Folk Weekend. Unfortunately the facilities there turned out to be less than we needed to run a successful event, so we have moved the Festival to Botton Village near Danby where the facilities are fantastic. It's the same festival, organised by the same team (Festival on the Moor) - just in a new location. Festival on the Moor’s May Bank Holiday Weekend event will take place in a beautiful NEW LOCATION - Botton Village, near Danby (YO21 2NJ). 15 miles from Whitby and 8 miles from Hutton le Hole, Botton is in the Esk Valley and is at the heart of the North York Moors National Park. Events will take place in the beautifill Botton Steiner School and stunning Joan of Arc Hall.
