Are you looking for Ryedale Folk Weekend or Kildale Folk Weekend??

Well, you're in the right place. Festival on the Moor has been organising events in and around the North York Moors since 2002. For a few year's we held our big May festival in Hutton le Hole and Cropton and called it the Ryedale Folk Weekend - as it was in Ryedale!

This year our May event was going to be in the village of Kildale - hence the name Kildale Folk Weekend. Unfortunately the facilities there turned out to be less than we needed to run a successful event, so we have moved the Festival to Botton Village near Danby where the facilities are fantastic.

It's the same festival, organised by the same team (Festival on the Moor) - just in a new location.

Call us if you're still confused - otherwise get your tickets now as it's going to be a great Festival....!

Join us for 4 fantastic days of great music, workshops, singarounds
sessions, crafts, stalls, kids fun... and much more
in the heart of the North York Moors

Botton Village nestles in Danby Dale in the Esk Valley. It?s one of the most magical and stunning places in the North York Moors National Park and is an oasis of calm and beauty. Home to the oldest Camphill Community, it?s also a vibrant working village with several farms and other workshops including artisan bakery and cheesemaker, candlemaking, a weavery and a dollshop. There?s also a store selling homemade and organic products, a coffee bar and a giftshop.

Evening Concerts in the truly awesome Joan of Arc Hall
